Tourism and public information portal.
Problem: tourism info lived in PDF and Facebook chaos. Result: a WordPress portal with places, routes, and editable content.
In short
- Information structure for visitors
- Easily editable WordPress content
- Public sector / tourism context
- Foundation for SEO and content growth
Challenge
Tourism information without clear structure becomes “PDF and Facebook” chaos. They needed one place: places, routes, practical info for visitors.
Editors had to update seasonal content without an agency for every sentence. Otherwise the portal dies after the season.
Solution
A WordPress portal with logical navigation and content sections for visitors and editors. Information is grouped so a mobile visitor finds it quickly.
Tone for public / tourism communication: clear, calm, without aggressive selling.
Tech and process
WordPress, content types / pages, mobile fit, basic SEO. Process: information architecture → templates → content → training.
Agree early who owns content after launch. Tech without an editor brings little value.
Outcome
Visitors have a clear information hub; the organisation has a tool it can maintain. A typical successful public / tourism WordPress project.
A natural next step is often SEO content (routes, places) and a technical audit.
