Synopticom: B2B SaaS website on WordPress and Elementor

In short

  • Client design moved to WordPress with its look intact
  • Content managed through 9 custom Elementor blocks
  • On-page SEO: meta, keyword URLs and 48 redirects (301)
  • GDPR: consent banner, consent records and updated legal pages
  • Mobile layout checked at 4 widths on every page

Challenge

The client provided their own design and clear requirements: strong on-page SEO, easy content management and maximum GDPR compliance. The design was one large prototype, and the team wanted to edit copy themselves, without a developer.

The addresses were changing too. The old two-language site had its own URL structure, and we did not want to lose search rankings.

Solution

We moved the prototype to WordPress with Elementor and kept the design. Repeated sections became custom Elementor blocks: a header with menu, the hero, content grids, an FAQ and a demo request form. Nine blocks and a blog post type with its own template, packed into one plugin.

For on-page SEO every page got meta based on the keyword plan, and 25 of 37 addresses became keyword URLs. All 48 old addresses in two languages redirect with a 301, and the sitemap is submitted to Search Console.

Tech and process

WordPress, Elementor and a custom plugin released in versions. A build script splits the prototype into pages, and the styles are protected with cascade layers so the theme cannot distort them.

For GDPR: GA4 with Consent Mode v2 and a consent banner, every consent recorded, and updated privacy and terms pages. The newsletter signup uses double opt-in and lets people unsubscribe.

Outcome

We tested the site on a copy and switched over with a backup and a rollback plan. On launch day we checked everything live: 37 of 37 pages work, 86 of 86 internal links work, and all 48 old addresses lead to the new ones.

We found no meta errors, and the mobile layout was checked at four widths on every page. The team can edit content themselves and assemble new pages from the same blocks.
