For communities

A free website for those who share good news.

Sometimes we take on WordPress projects without an invoice. For local communities, NGOs, and faith groups that need a simple, calm site to share a message.

In short

  • A free WordPress site. Selection, not automatic approval
  • Includes structure, mobile layout, core pages, and training
  • Not for commercial businesses, e-com, or heavy custom work
  • Example: svjonoseserys.lt. A calm community site
  • A WordPress site with clear structure and a mobile layout
  • Core pages, news, or contacts. As needed
  • A short training on how to update content yourselves
  • Selection by queue and our capacity at the time

Who this initiative is for

This initiative is for non-profit communities, NGOs, faith groups, and local initiatives that use the web to inform, invite, or share a message. It is not intended for commercial businesses or personal promotion projects.

Projects are selected according to our capacity at the time. Submitting the form is not automatic approval, but clear information about your organisation and its purpose helps us assess the request.

What scope is realistic

The best fit is a simple WordPress site with clear navigation, core information pages, news or contact details, and a mobile layout. We agree the exact structure around the organisation’s practical needs.

Online stores, complex applications, extensive bespoke integrations, and urgent commercial launches are outside this initiative. If the need is larger, we can assess it separately as a paid project.

What we need from your team

We need one contact person who can make decisions, gather copy and images, and provide feedback on time. Without that collaboration, even a small project cannot be completed properly.

After handover, the organisation should be ready to update its own content. We show you how; recurring technical maintenance and later extensions are agreed separately.

How we assess a request

We look at whether the organisation is non-profit, whether the website has a clear purpose and realistic scope, and whether someone is ready to collaborate. We also consider our current workload.

If we cannot accept the project now, we say so or offer a place in the queue. Selection keeps us from taking on more work than we can complete responsibly.

How to apply

Use the form to introduce the organisation, explain the website’s purpose, list the pages you need, and tell us about existing content, a domain or current site, and your preferred timeline. A specific request is easier to assess accurately.

Before sending it, review the eligibility criteria and decide who will be the project contact. Once we receive the form, we will reply whether we can take it on or need more information.

Who it's for

  • . Non-profit communities, NGOs, religious and local initiatives
  • . A clear goal. Inform, invite, share a message
  • . Willingness to maintain content yourselves after launch
  • . A realistic scope (not an online store or a complex app)

Who it's not for

  • . Commercial businesses and personal promo sites
  • . Large e-com or custom systems projects
  • . Projects without a contact person or clear content
  • . Urgent "needed yesterday" launches without collaboration

How it works

  1. 01

    Request

Fill in the form. Who you are, what you need, and whether you already have a site.

  2. 02

    Selection

We reply whether we can start now or add you to the queue. No false promises.

  3. 03

    Build

A short brief, design, content, launch. We work together, simply.

  4. 04

    Handover

We show you how to update content. After that it's yours; ongoing care is separate.

Example

The Sisters of St. John website. Calm, clear, with news and practical information. That's the kind of project we care about here.

FAQ.

Is it really free?

Yes. For selected projects the build work has no invoice. Domain and hosting usually stay yours (we can advise). Extra services after launch are separate.

Does this fit my NGO / parish / local club?

If you are a non-profit initiative with a clear goal and realistic scope, submit a request. Commercial businesses are out of scope.

How long does a project take?

Often a few weeks after selection, depending on how quickly we get content. We agree a timeline case by case.

Where do I apply?

Use the form on this page. If you are still weighing the free and paid routes, read the decision guide “Free or paid community website”.

Submit a request

A request is not automatic approval. We'll reply within a few business days.
